As part of my News-Editorial Journalism degree, I completed an internship at the Boulder Daily Camera on the City Desk. During this time, I reported on a variety of topics such as education, local government, restaurant trends, visiting professionals and charity events. I covered topics of interest to the local community and events in the Boulder area, often for day-of deadlines. I pitched stories to the City Desk editor, as well as accepted assignments from other desks.
